| Harry Kewell Dies after Long Battle with Groin Strain
Billy Ray - Chief Sports Writer
Ex-Leeds and Liverpool legend Harry Kewell finally lost his battle with a groin strain and passed away quietly in his sleep last night his agent has told the press. 29-year old Kewell, who fought a long battle against the illness for more than 5 years, has died weeks after having surgery to reduce the size of his legs.
An inquest will be held to find out if the surgery was a contributing factor to his death, although sheer lethargy has not been ruled out.
His wife Sheree Murphy said he would be greatly missed. Galatasaray declined to comment. Rumours have surfaced that with Kewell off the wage bill they are planning to use the money to build a new stand out of pure gold.
"He was so full of life, and now he's fucking dead "

Mr Kewell, who underwent surgery in early July, said doctors had warned him he had a fifty-fifty chance of survival.
Speaking last Friday he said: "I suppose there is only myself to blame, because I'm the only person not warming up properly.
"But there must be something that is wrong with me; I simply cannot play more than three games a year. At first the doctors, oh fuck it I cant be arsed, this interview is over"
Sheree told Mingeford365: "He knew the risk, but I think in Harry's mind he thought training and warming up properly was just a complete waste of time. The risk did outweigh things but the doctors were very good - they said they'd give him the best possible chance.
"He was so full of life, and now he's fucking dead. It's a genuine tragedy. In the last few hours he barely moved at all."
Kewell leaves behind a massage table, 3 large screen TVs, several computer games consoles, a stack of DVD Review magazines and 80 suitcases stuffed with cold hard cash.
