Can you ever sue a doctor and actually win? They're switching my nans machines off in intensive care in a few hours and letting her die - and the doctor came round this morning before any of us got there and told her that there was nothing more he can do and what he'd be doing later.

Shes in her 80's, fragile, so frightened shes like a little rabbit caught in the headlights, but still very aware of everything and now is left knowing whats about to happen and is going to spend her last day or two being scared witless.

I want to punch that bastard

when my sisters baby was 27 weeks premature cait they were supposed to phone ahead to the big hospital immediately to make arrangements for her to be transferred but the doctor was just saying to us nah no point she is just going to die, and they had an enquiry and the guy who was supposed to phone was playing computer games on the PC at the time and didnt call up, she is now about to get let home with oxygen, so if we had listened to him they would have chucked her straight in the bin

Ask to speak to the (trust) Manager and make a formal complaint. I think that would be your first port of call if you want to sue them regardless.
